Rolex Datejust 36 "Tiffany and Co" dial | 16013

£8,450.00

In stock is this Rolex Datejust 16013, featuring a very rare Tiffany & Co signed linen dial, which would have originally been retailed through a Tiffany & Co store in the 1980s. Between the 1950s and 1990s, Rolex allowed its official retailers to have their names or logos added to the dials of their watches. Over the years, the process changed, with some Tiffany & Co dials being stamped by Tiffany themselves at their retail premises or service workshops, while others were stamped by Rolex. In the early years, these co-branded, or double-signed, dials were stamped by hand with later exampled printed using a machine. This particular example runs very well, currently only gaining around 9 seconds per day and the bracelet does have some stretch, but nothing excessive. Overall it’s a great example of the 16013, made particularly interesting by the rare Tiffany & Co dial, making it a brilliant piece of Rolex’s history.
