FAQs

  • How do I know what watches you have available

Check out our Instagram @skn_watches to see current stock and recent sales. We showcase popular vintage Rolex pieces and can help source specific models. You’re also welcome to email us for a full stock rundown.

  • I don't know what watch to buy

f you’re unsure which watch to buy or what fits your budget, reach out for our recommendations. Vintage Rolex offers a wide range of options; an ideal starting point for any watch collection.

  • Is a watch a good investment

We don’t recommend buying a watch purely as an investment. While some can hold or grow in value, it depends on factors like brand, model, and rarity. At Skn Watches, we believe you should buy a watch you genuinely want to wear and not just for investment purposes.

  • How much should I spend on my first luxury watch

An initial budget when purchasing a luxury watch is entirely relative to what you wish to spend. There are plenty of vintage options under the £5k mark so you’ll be sure to get a great variety of options for all budgets.

  • What previous watch experience do you have

I started with Seikos and Casios, then moved into vintage Rolex—mainly Datejust 36s from the '70s and '80s. Since then, I’ve sold everything from steel and gold Datejusts to Serti dial Submariners. Whatever you’re after, we’ve got you covered.

  • What does Box and Papers mean

"Box and papers" refer to the original packaging and documents from when the watch was first sold. While they often add value, a watch without them can still be a great buy.
